Recovery Education Programme
Looking for free opportunities to learn, connect and share experiences?
The Recovery College South East provides educational workshops for people experiencing mental health and addiction challenges. The workshops are free and offer a supportive space to learn, share experiences and connect with others.
The new programme starts in September and includes a range of workshops in Waterford, including:
– Let’s Talk Anxiety –Let’s Talk Anxiety – a 4-week workshop exploring anxiety, practical coping strategies and building confidence.
– HSE Local Mental Health Forum – a monthly opportunity to share experiences, ideas and feedback around mental health services.
– Much More Than Words – a relaxed, creative space to share poems, stories, music, drawing or simply listen and connect.
– WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) –a 4-week Wellness Recovery Action Plan programme supporting people to create their own personal recovery and wellbeing plan.
The programme runs from September through December 2026 on various dates. Courses are free and open to everyone, with online options available for some workshops.
Waterford locations include Waterford Primary Care Centre, St Otteran’s Hospital Campus and Waterford Involvement Centre, New Street.
