WCCC Business Fundamentals for Childminders

This programme has been designed for new and existing childminders only that are Registered with Revenue to provide childminding in their own home.

To be eligible for this programme participants must be already registered with revenue and either availing of the €15,000 childcare services relief or paying tax on childminding profits

The programme will give participants knowledge to help them manage the business aspects of their childminding service, as well as understand the responsibilities required of self-employment.

It also introduces them to some of the key business basics that inform business decisions, helps them put in place a Revenue compliant bookkeeping system, manage their own accounts and Revenue returns, determine their best option around tax exemption.

The cost per person is €200. Payment will not be taken at registration stage but full payment will be required prior to commencing programme.
