TYRE Project – Waterford & South Tipperary Community Youth Service
The TYRE Project is a Youth Diversion Project.
The Project works with young people aged 12-17 involved/ at risk of getting involved in criminal or antisocial behaviour. We are based in Tramore but are now accepting young people in surrounding rural areas. We work with young people on a voluntary basis and promote positive behavioral change through a range of activities.
The projects aim to help young people move away from behaving in a way that might get them or their friends into trouble. We can help young people develop their sense of community and their social skills through different activities. The projects offer opportunities for education, employment, training, sport, art, music and other activities.
Referral process: A source of referrals comes from the local JLO but also anyone in the lives of the young person can refer. Parental/ Guardian consent needed prior to referral. Please contact the numbers below for more information/ referral form.
