BRILL FRC MAD Club – Youth Education Support

MAD Club (Make a Difference) is a community-based Education Support Service, working with second-level school students aged 12-19 years living in the community of Ballybeg and Kilbarry on the outskirts of Waterford City to support them in their formal education journey.

To become a MAD Club member, you must be referred to us through the Home School Liaison Officer; Tusla, other family support-based agencies; or the Parent/Guardian(s) of the young person. Members work with MAD Club from September to August.

MAD Club aims to achieve a holistic, relationship-oriented youth work approach in the coordination and service provision of the following:
~ Supervised Homework Assistance Subject
~ Tutoring and Academic Coaching
~ Youth Work and Recreation
~ Hot Meal Provision
