Autistic Toilet Training

Family Carers Ireland are hosting a free online session on a practical, neuroaffirmative and child-led approach to toilet learning for autistic children.

Explore sensory needs, communication differences and demand avoidance, while learning about practical, supportive strategies that can make toilet learning a more positive and comfortable experience.

The session will also introduce visual tools and helpful approaches to support confidence, understanding and independence, while recognising and respecting each child’s individual needs and pace.
