WCCC Self Employment Options Course for Childminders
The first session on Mon 13 May is in-person in the Viking Hotel, Waterford from 7.30-9.30pm. The remaining sessions take place online. This programme is fully funded by Waterford Local Enterprise Office and is available free of charge to participating Childminders.
The course will help childminders decide the most beneficial course of action for themselves with regard to their own service.
The course will go through the pros & cons of Revenue registration; give information on what’s involved and the steps necessary when making a decision on self-employment.
It also looks at how to properly cost and price childminding services; as well as expenses claimable and calculating profitability.
