Waterford County Community Based Drugs Initiative West (CWCBDI)

The aim of the project is to support local communities in increasing their awareness of drug related issues and facilitate the development of strategies to reduce the demand for drugs in communities.

County Waterford CBDI West supports individuals, families and communities to address substance misuse related issues through the provision of individual and group supports, assessment and referral, education and awareness programmes, and the development and implementation of community responses to substance misuse.

Co Waterford CBDI West provides a service for males and females from the age of 12+ years old who are either directly or indirectly affected by substance misuse (alcohol, illegal drugs, prescription/legal drugs). Referrals accepted: Self-referral General practitioner Social services/Community services Court/probation/police A&E Other
