Tusla Child & Family Agency – Family Support
Offering family support through the Meitheal-Tusla led national practice model to support parents if they feel that their child has additional needs, or are facing challenges that are difficult to overcome, and are finding it hard to access the support necessary to help.
Examples of the challenges that Meitheal could help with are: • Problems with child/young person’s engagement in education. • Parent/child relationship issues • Social isolation • Family problems • Coping with illness or bereavement • Difficult / challenging behaviour
Self referral by parent. Parent supported by other agencies to access Meitheal. Diversion and step down from Social work Child protection. Contact the Co-ordinator Child and Family Support Networks.
