SWAY Garda Youth Diversion Project

We work with young people between the ages of 12 and 18 who are at risk of or are involved in offending behaviour. Our catchment area covers the Sacred Heart and Dunmore Road neighbourhoods in Waterford City.

Our main source of referral is the Garda Juvenile Liaison Officer (JLO), but it is also possible for families, schools, social workers or other agencies to make a referral. All referrals are reviewed by the Referral Assessment Committee. If you would like to make a referral please contact the SWAY Project directly.
