First Steps Creche

We are a full-time creche based in Ballybeg in Waterford City catering for children from the ages of 3 months to 6 years old.

At First Steps Crèche we are committed to providing the highest quality of childcare for all our families and children. Working in partnership with Parents/Guardians, we will continually strive to help, nurture, challenge and foster independence in all the children in our care. We aim to provide a safe, warm, stimulating, age-appropriate environment, where all children are encouraged to learn, grow and actively explore.

The ethos of our service is to treat each child with respect and as an individual. We aim to provide a progressive and consistently high-quality childcare service, where the needs of both the children and families are met. The care we provide is person-centered as we believe that children learn and develop skills in their own time through the process of exploration within an educational play-based curriculum. Each child will be encouraged to reach their maximum potential at their own pace.  We believe that each child is special and holds the future in their hands.
